Ensure Government Schemes Reach the Last Person in Society: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai

Raipur, January 2026 : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said that officers and employees play a crucial role in the effective implementation of state government schemes, and therefore must ensure, with sensitivity and a spirit of service, that benefits reach the last person in society. He emphasized that district-level officers should conduct field visits and promptly resolve difficulties faced in the implementation of schemes. He also instructed that all field-level officers must remain stationed at their respective headquarters.

The Chief Minister reviewed the implementation of various government programmes in Surajpur district on Saturday and issued necessary directions to officials. He instructed the Collector to prepare and submit proposals keeping in mind basic necessities in remote areas such as Chandni Biharpur, so that better facilities can be provided in these regions.

While reviewing the procurement of paddy at the minimum support price, the Chief Minister directed that all basic facilities should be ensured at paddy procurement centres. He stressed that special care must be taken so that farmers do not face any difficulties while selling their produce.

He also issued instructions for effective implementation of the Prime Minister Surya Ghar Free Electricity Bill Scheme, timely completion of roads with assured quality, and ensuring that the health staff make all necessary arrangements in hospitals.

On this occasion, Collector Shri S. Jayavardhan, Senior Superintendent of Police Shri Prashant Kumar Thakur, District Panchayat CEO Shri Vijendra Patle, and all district-level officers were present.
