Minister Rane instructed that if there is no visible progress in the jetty work by February 25, action should be taken against the contractor. He further directed that the jetty work must be completed within the period mentioned in the tender and that a weekly progress report should be submitted.
Minister Rane also stated that once the Radio Club Jetty is completed, new waterways will be developed from this area. This will provide citizens with additional water transport options and enable direct connectivity to Navi Mumbai. It will be especially convenient for passengers traveling to the Navi Mumbai International Airport and for those commuting from there to South Mumbai.
