SLBC Decides to Minimize Gap Between Loan Approval and Disbursement for Self-Employment and Entrepreneurship
Jaipur, January 2026 — In a state-level bankers’ committee meeting chaired by Chief Secretary Mr. V. Srinivas, it was decided that banks must make every effort to minimize the time and financial gap between loan applications, approval, and disbursement.
The meeting discussed measures to ensure maximum benefit of various schemes reaches the target groups, including PM Vishwakarma, PMEGP, PM SVANidhi, PMFME, PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme, Chief Minister Nari Shakti Entrepreneurship Promotion Scheme, Vishwakarma Youth Entrepreneur Promotion Scheme, and Chief Minister Youth Self-Employment Schemes.
In line with the goals outlined in Viksit Rajasthan@2047, the committee instructed bank officials to promote overall credit growth, prioritize agriculture, MSME, women entrepreneurship, and youth-focused schemes, and improve loan assessment and documentation support. Strengthening district-level credit planning was also deliberated.
The meeting further emphasized better coordination among state and central government departments, RBI, NABARD, and banks to ensure timely loan approvals and disbursements, preventing project cost escalations due to delays.
