Programme organised to mark the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of “Hind Di Chadar” Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji

Nanded, January 2026 :On the occasion of the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of “Hind Di Chadar” Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, a grand and special Kirtan Samagam was organised today at the sacred Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib, Nanded. The highlight of the event was the soulful rendition of Shabad Gurbani of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji by 350 school students singing in perfect unison, which left the congregation spellbound.

The programme was organised by the Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib Nanded Board. To commemorate the 350th Shaheedi Samagam year of Shri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, the students offered this unique and heartfelt musical tribute.

Prominent dignitaries present on the occasion included Jathedar Sant Baba Kulwant Singh Ji of Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib Gurdwara, Dr. Vijay Satbir Singh (Retd. IAS), Administrator of the Board, Rameshwar Naik, State-level Coordinator of the 350th Shaheedi Samagam Committee of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, Jaswant Singh Bobby, and Harjit Singh Ji Kadewale, Superintendent of the Gurdwara Board, among others.

The sacred and melodious strains of Gurbani emerging from the voices of the students transformed the entire premises and atmosphere of Takht Sachkhand Shri Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib into a deeply devotional setting. A large number of devotees (Sangat) gathered to witness this historic and spiritual event. The dignitaries appreciated the disciplined and भावपूर्ण (emotionally rich) presentation by the school children and offered them guidance and encouragement.
