Sri Guru Granth Sahib Installed with Full Rituals in a Devotional Atmosphere

Nanded, January 2026 : Sri Guru Granth Sahib was ceremoniously installed today with full religious rites in a deeply devotional and auspicious atmosphere at the main pavilion erected at the Public Works Department ground in the Asarjan area.

The sacred ceremony was held in the backdrop of the grand programme being organised to commemorate the 350th Shaheedi Samagam (martyrdom anniversary) of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji.

On the occasion of the installation, auspicious recitation of Gurbani, Ardas and Kirtan were performed. A large number of devotees were present during the ceremony. The melodious hymns of Gurbani filled the entire परिसर with a profound sense of spirituality. Devotees, while strictly observing all religious protocols and discipline, offered their obeisance to Sri Guru Granth Sahib.

On this occasion, an atmosphere of enthusiasm prevails across Nanded city and the surrounding areas. The administration and various social organisations have completed all necessary preparations to welcome devotees arriving from across the country and abroad. For the convenience of devotees, comprehensive arrangements have been made, including facilities for darshan, cleanliness, drinking water and security.

Remembering the supreme sacrifice of Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, this Shaheedi Samagam conveys a powerful message of faith, humanity and tolerance, proving to be a source of inspiration for society.
