Tourism is Generating New Employment Opportunities in State
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Mahalok Hotel & Resort located on the Ujjain–Indore Road. He stated that the state is setting new benchmarks of development. He stated that following the development of Shri Mahakal Mahalok, Ujjain’s economy and overall growth have gained strong momentum.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a good institution earns its name by delivering quality service with humility. He stated that hotels, resorts and dharamshalas in Ujjain are providing facilities to devotees, reflecting India’s age-old tradition of Atithi Devo Bhava.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in view of Simhastha 2028, the Indore–Ujjain Road is being expanded to six lanes to enhance pilgrim convenience, and metro connectivity will also be provided in the future. He added that a new metropolitan city is being developed by integrating the regions of Indore, Ujjain, Dewas, Dhar, Ratlam, and Shajapur.
He said that to promote tourism, the PM Shri Helicopter Service has been launched, and that tourism is generating new employment opportunities across the state. Along with strengthening Ujjain as a centre of religious tourism, the city is also being developed as an industrial hub through initiatives such as a science city, the new Vikram Udyogpuri Phase-II, an IT park, and a planetarium.
On the occasion, former Rajasthan minister Shri Uday Lal, Shri Anjana Patel, Shri Sanjay Agrawal, Shri Rajesh Dhakad, Shri Ravi Solanki, Shri Virendra Kumar Anjana, and other distinguished citizens were present.
