Adani Ahmedabad Marathon Unveils Official Jersey for Landmark 10th Edition

Ahmedabad, Sept 2026 : The official jersey for the 10th edition of the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon was unveiled on Sunday, bringing together fitness enthusiasts, runners and members of Ahmedabad’s running community ahead of the landmark event.

The 10th edition of the marathon will be held on November 29, 2026, with runners participating across four categories — Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10 km and 5 km. The event will once again start from the Sabarmati Riverfront Sports Park, taking participants along the Sabarmati Riverfront and past several of Ahmedabad’s prominent landmarks.

The Adani Ahmedabad Marathon has been part of the Global Marathon Event List of the Association of International Marathons and Distance Races (AIMS) since 2022. Its race routes also continue to be certified by the Athletics Federation of India.

Over the past decade, the marathon has evolved from a city-based running event into a major annual sporting occasion. The previous edition attracted more than 24,000 participants, reflecting the expanding popularity of distance running and fitness activities in Ahmedabad and across the country.

The event brings together elite athletes, amateur runners, fitness enthusiasts, families and communities, creating a platform where participants of different ages and abilities share a common passion for running.

The 10th-edition jersey has been designed in collaboration with sportswear partner Reebok. The design seeks to capture the movement, energy and emotions associated with race day while reflecting the decade-long journey of the marathon and its growing running community.

The jersey features flowing lines across its surface, symbolising the continuous movement of every stride and every kilometre covered during the race. Its gradient transitions from blue to purple and magenta, representing the changing emotions experienced by runners — from the calm and anticipation before the start to the intensity of the race and the celebration of crossing the finish line.

A distinctive tricolour contour runs through the design, bringing the colours and spirit of the Indian flag into the jersey. The element is linked to the marathon’s central initiative, #Run4OurSoldiers, which gives participants an opportunity to honour the courage, dedication and sacrifice of India’s Armed Forces.

The initiative brings citizens and members of the Armed Forces together through a shared expression of gratitude and solidarity. A major portion of the proceeds from the initiative goes towards the welfare of soldiers.

The Adani Ahmedabad Marathon and Reebok identities are prominently featured on the jersey, combining the marathon’s 10-year legacy with the sportswear brand’s experience in running and active lifestyles. The collaboration also gives the 10th-edition jersey a distinctive identity rooted in the event’s purpose and Ahmedabad’s sporting culture.

Sanjay Adesara, Chief Business Officer, Adani Sportsline, said the marathon’s strength lay in its ability to bring people together. He noted that over the past decade, the event had grown to attract runners from across Gujarat and different parts of the country.

“The jersey is an important part of that experience because people wear it with pride,” Adesara said, adding that the partnership with Reebok had helped bring the vibrant design to life. The jersey was unveiled at Palladium Ahmedabad.

Arjun Ramamoorthy, Brand Head, Reebok India, said running was becoming an increasingly important part of India’s sporting culture and represented a significant opportunity for the brand.

He described the partnership with the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon as an opportunity for Reebok to engage with a committed, fitness-focused running community.

“With Reebok as the official jersey partner, we are not just showing up on race day; we are becoming a visible part of the runner’s journey, from the start line to the finish,” Ramamoorthy said.

As the Adani Ahmedabad Marathon prepares for its 10th edition, the event continues to combine competitive running with community participation and the #Run4OurSoldiers initiative, giving participants an opportunity to take part in a sporting occasion with a broader social purpose.
