Minister for Information and Public Relations and Housing Kolusu Parthasarathy told reporters that the Cabinet commended Modi’s commitment, integrity, discipline, clear vision, decisive leadership and result-oriented approach during his 25 years in public life.
The resolution praised what the Cabinet described as Modi’s ability to combine creativity, technology, innovation, transparency and accountability with governance. It also highlighted his emphasis on both long-term national objectives and detailed implementation.
The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet also acknowledged the transformation that the country has undergone under Modi’s leadership. It cited developments in modern infrastructure, technology-driven governance, implementation of welfare programmes, support for entrepreneurs, innovation and efforts towards self-reliance as areas that have strengthened India’s capabilities.
The ministers also appreciated Modi’s emphasis on cooperative federalism and his efforts to position states as active partners in the country’s development process.
According to the resolution, the Prime Minister’s leadership has provided stability, continuity and a sense of direction to the country amid changing global circumstances and uncertainties. The Cabinet described his approach as one that prioritised national interests while taking decisions aimed at achieving long-term objectives.
The Council of Ministers also highlighted Modi’s role in strengthening India’s engagement with countries around the world. It expressed appreciation for his diplomatic approach, strategic outlook and efforts to develop partnerships with nations as part of India’s foreign policy.
The Cabinet noted that India’s international standing, credibility and influence had grown during Modi’s tenure and said the period had also contributed to a stronger sense of national pride among Indians living across the world.
