Formulate and implement an effective action plan for security and traffic management

Jaipur, August 2026 : Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma reviewed security arrangements in view of the upcoming festive season in a crucial meeting held on Sunday.During the meeting, he directed that work be carried out based on an effective action plan for security and traffic management. He ordered that in case of any untoward incident, the concerned Inspector General of Police and Superintendent of Police must immediately reach the spot and bring the situation under control.
The Chief Minister noted that major festivals such as Barawafat, Raksha Bandhan, Janmashtami, and Ganesh Chaturthi are approaching. In this context, he emphasised the need to ensure public participation and effective coordination with the general public so that information—whether minor or significant—can be received in a timely manner and necessary action taken.
DGP Rajiv Kumar Sharma, ACS (Home) Bhaskar A. Sawant, and other senior officials were present at the meeting.
