Mumbai, Aug 2026 : The final results of the Primary (Class 4) and Upper Primary (Class 7) Scholarship Examinations conducted by the Maharashtra State Council of Examinations have been announced, with 33,281 students from across the state qualifying for scholarships, Maharashtra State Council of Examinations Chairman Dr Nandkumar Bedse said. School Education Minister Dadaji Bhuse congratulated the students and extended his best wishes to them.
Based on the merit of students in the scholarship examination, approved quotas have been determined for various categories. A total of 16,693 students from Class 4 and 16,588 students from various categories in Class 7 have qualified for scholarships. Separate merit lists and certificates of the students have been made available through the respective schools’ login portals.
The Maharashtra State Council of Examinations has made the final results, mark sheets and certificates available on its websites. Students, parents, schools and field-level officials can download the final results, state-level, district-level and taluka-level merit lists, district-wise school statistical information, as well as category-wise cutoff marks from https://mscepune.in and https://२०२६-२.puppssmsce.in. However, certificates for scholarship recipients will be made available only after bank account and Aadhaar number details are submitted.
Students who appeared for the examination from unauthorised schools, those above the prescribed age limit, students who have not paid the required fees, and those who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria as per the rules have not been included in the merit lists. The Council has clarified that if any incorrect or false information is found to have been provided in the online application, the scholarship eligibility of the concerned students will be cancelled.
The process regarding disbursement of the scholarship amount will be undertaken at the level of the Director of Education (Planning), Maharashtra State, Pune. The Examination Council has informed that recommendations of the students included in the merit lists will be forwarded to the Director for further action.
