Lucknow, September 2026 : A seven-day Shri Ganesh festival is being celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion at Paltan Chhawani Sector-A, Sitapur Road Yojana Colony, in Lucknow.
On the fifth day of the festival, observed on Friday, the Ganesh pandal reverberated with devotional songs such as “Riddhi Siddhi Ke Data Tum Ho Ganpati,” “Tumko Main Kaise Manaun Gajanan,” “Ghar Mein Padharo Gajanan Ji, Mere Ghar Mein Padharo,” and “Ladua Sa Gol Matol, Hamare Gaura Ka Lala.”
Women devotees further filled the atmosphere with devotion by presenting several bhajans, including “Mera Vighna Haro Ganpati,” “Aaye Hain Gauri Ganesh Aaj More Angana Mein,” “Aao Aao Padharo Ganraj Ji,” “Jai Ho Gajanan Tumhari, Karte Ho Mooshak Ki Sawari,” and “Aao Gauri Ke Laal Mere Garibkhane Mein.”
The celebrations witnessed the participation of a large number of devotees, including Krishnavati, Geeta Kushwaha, Kirti Kushwaha, Kiran Pal, Sapna Shukla, Rashmi Srivastava, Aradhana, Sona, Sundari, Shikha, Shalu Pal, Sunita, Kanchan, Sudha and Pooja, among others.
The devotional singing and participation of women devotees added to the festive atmosphere as the community continued its seven-day celebration dedicated to Lord Ganesha.
