He specifically recalled the contributions of Bhamashah, along with freedom fighters, saints, litterateurs and industrialists who have brought honour to the community in India and across the world.
Reiterating Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi’s guiding principle of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’, the Chief Minister said that initiatives such as GST, Digital India and Startup India have taken the business sector to new heights. Expressing concern over the prevailing situation in Punjab, he said that the state’s traders and youth today aspire for a secure environment, a transparent system and positive change.
Presenting an overview of Haryana’s industrial and economic development, Chief Minister Sh. Nayab Singh Saini said that under the vision of ‘Viksit Haryana 2047’, the state government is working towards the goal of building a USD 1 trillion economy and generating 5 million new employment opportunities.
Haryana ranks fourth in the country in terms of startup culture, with more than 12,000 recognised startups, 19 unicorns and over 250 Fortune 500 companies. Under its Ease of Doing Business initiatives, the state government has taken several landmark steps to strengthen industries and the MSME sector, including the introduction of the Plug-and-Play policy, the PADMA programme and the abolition of more than 1,100 redundant regulations.
