Directs Officials to Ensure Timely Delivery of Benefits to Beneficiaries and Regular Monitoring of Field-Level Work
Raipur, Sept 2026: Women and Child Development and Social Welfare Minister Laxmi Rajwade reviewed the progress of departmental schemes and development works at block-level review meetings held in Surajpur and Bhaiyathan.
She directed officials to ensure effective implementation of government schemes and timely delivery of their benefits to all eligible beneficiaries.
During the meetings, Minister Rajwade took stock of the ground-level status of various schemes and placed special emphasis on regular monitoring of field-level activities, along with ensuring quality and transparency in implementation.
She instructed officials to ensure that there was no negligence at any level in works related to development and public welfare. She also directed them to resolve public grievances on priority and accelerate the implementation of government schemes.
Rajwade said the real objective of good governance is to ensure that the benefits of government schemes and facilities reach the last person in society. She emphasised that continuous review and effective monitoring were essential to ensure that departmental schemes reached genuine beneficiaries and that development works had a visible and positive impact on people's lives.
The Minister also directed officials to maintain better coordination with field-level staff and resolve implementation-related issues in a timely manner. She said the success of a government scheme cannot be measured merely by its approval or implementation; its real purpose is fulfilled only when the intended benefits actually reach the beneficiaries.
Officials from the concerned departments, public representatives and BJP workers were present at the review meetings held in Surajpur and Bhaiyathan. Surajpur MLA Bhulan Singh Maravi also attended the meeting in Surajpur.
