MP is Trusted Partner for Investors: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh shares a natural and close relationship with Dubai. He said, “We are a trusted partner of Dubai and stand with Dubai with a wealth of possibilities and opportunities”. The Chief Minister added that Madhya Pradesh is the heart of Incredible India and that the state is here to win a place in the hearts of investors in Dubai.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, addressing investors, that Madhya Pradesh’s industrial policies are highly transparent and investor-friendly. He said, “Our policies, intent, leadership and the entire government are ready to welcome investors.” The Chief Minister urged investors to invest in Madhya Pradesh without any hesitation, assuring them that the state government would never let them down.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the specially organised ‘Investment Destination: Madhya Pradesh’ session on Monday at the AIM Congress-2026 being held at the World Trade Centre in Dubai, on the second day of his visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE). UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Ambassador of India to the UAE Dr. Deepak Mittal, and a large number of industrialists, investors and industries partners from India and abroad were present at the session. An audio-visual film highlighting Madhya Pradesh’s industrial progress, strengths, investment opportunities and immense potential was also screened during the session.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Dubai is a global hub for investment and innovation. He said it was a matter of pride for Madhya Pradesh that a shared roadmap for global partnerships, strategic and economic cooperation, and a strong and prosperous future was being presented on the major platform of AIM Congress. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Madhya Pradesh is creating new opportunities for domestic and international investors for long-term, world-class partnerships. Amid healthy competition among Indian states to drive development, Madhya Pradesh is among the leading states offering a conducive environment for industrial growth through transparent policies and investor-friendly schemes. He said that as investors around the world seek destinations offering ease of doing business, Madhya Pradesh is providing investors and industrial groups with every possible opportunity and facilitation. The Chief Minister said, “Madhya Pradesh has won the trust of investors through its policy, intent and approach to investment.”

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has created opportunities for investors to grow across a wide range of sectors. He said the state has abundant natural resources and a skilled human resource base. With industry-friendly policies, rapidly developing industrial infrastructure and a steadily growing economy, Madhya Pradesh has established a distinct position for itself in the country.

Madhya Pradesh Offers Strong Connectivity with Other States

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is the heart of India and enjoys strong connectivity with all parts of the country. The state offers round-the-clock freight movement facilities and is well positioned for exports and distribution. Its access to major industrial centres and markets, along with the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor, rail network and modern logistics corridors, has given Madhya Pradesh a distinctive strategic advantage. He said Madhya Pradesh is emerging as a hub for agriculture, industry, services and new industry-led economic activities. The state is among India’s leading agricultural producers, and its productivity, favourable conditions and food-processing capabilities provide an opportunity to become an integral part of the global food supply chain.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the textile sector is one of the fastest-emerging sectors in Madhya Pradesh. The state is no longer limited to production alone; its textile industry represents a unique convergence of its rich industrial heritage and modern industrial capabilities. Madhya Pradesh offers significant opportunities ranging from traditional textiles such as Chanderi and Maheshwari to modern textile manufacturing. He said the automobile, engineering, pharmaceutical and advanced manufacturing sectors are also driving the state’s rapid growth.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that industrial centres such as Pithampur and Mandideep have become preferred destinations for leading Indian companies. Alongside traditional industries, Madhya Pradesh is also preparing its younger generation to embrace future business and commercial opportunities and contribute to the state’s economic growth. He said the state is building a strong ecosystem aligned with future technological requirements, including telecommunications manufacturing, digital manufacturing, optical fibre, electronics and green energy. He said, “We understand that investment does not come merely by looking at resources and opportunities; it also requires trust. Madhya Pradesh is that trusted partner for investors, where policies are simple and transparent, resources are abundant, and modern infrastructure is available for your industries and manufacturing units.”

Our Government is Ready to Take Every Possible Step for Investors

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the state government is ready to take every possible step to support investors. Madhya Pradesh offers immense potential in agriculture, food processing, textiles, automobiles, pharmaceuticals, engineering, logistics, renewable energy, digital technology and trade. He said the government is committed to promoting investment by advancing the state across all sectors. The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is emerging as a country with immense future potential. During Prime Minister Shri Modi’s tenure, India has emerged as one of the world’s leading economies. He said that Madhya Pradesh shares strong and cordial relations with Dubai and other Gulf countries. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also appreciated the efforts of UAE officials in organising the interaction session.

Madhya Pradesh Has Abundant Natural Resources and Skilled Manpower: Dr. Thani

UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Dr. Thani said that important discussions were held in July 2025 on enhancing trade and business cooperation between the UAE and Madhya Pradesh. He said India has long been an important economic partner of the UAE. Last year, bilateral trade between India and the UAE stood at USD 100 billion. Both countries are working together to further expand bilateral trade while also deepening investment and people-to-people ties.

Dr. Thani said, “I am confident that Madhya Pradesh will play an important role in fulfilling our commitments. It is the second-largest state in India and has no shortage of natural resources or skilled manpower. The UAE recognises and appreciates the capabilities of Madhya Pradesh.” He said that during the previous visit, the UAE had agreed to strengthen supply chains in Central India and connect them with global markets. Dr. Thani added that during Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s previous visit, discussions were held on establishing a corridor for the textile industry, and work in this direction is progressing rapidly. This will further increase trade and investment between India and the UAE. He said, “We are committed to connecting Madhya Pradesh with global investors and businesses. I hope that the upcoming Global Investors Summit (GIS-2027) in January will give fresh momentum to trade relations between Madhya Pradesh and the UAE.”

MP and UAE Witnessing New Agreements: Ambassador Dr. Mittal

India’s Ambassador to the UAE Dr. Deepak Mittal said that Madhya Pradesh is playing an important role as a growth engine in India’s development journey. The Indian economy recorded a growth rate of 7.8 per cent in the April-June 2026 quarter, demonstrating its resilience amid global challenges. Madhya Pradesh has played a significant role in this economic growth. He said Madhya Pradesh has maintained its GDP growth at above 12 per cent for several years. The UAE is also playing an important role as a key partner in India’s rapidly growing economy. Several important agreements have been signed between India and the UAE, and bilateral trade has increased to more than USD 100 billion over the past three years. This reflects the commitment of the leadership of both countries and the deepening of bilateral ties.

The UAE is among India’s top three countries in terms of bilateral trade. Dr. Mittal said, “This is a significant achievement for us. Today, Madhya Pradesh and the UAE are witnessing the signing of new agreements.”

MP- Dubai Economic Ties to be Strengthened through CEPA: ACS Shri Mandloi

At the Invest in Madhya Pradesh investment session held in Dubai, Additional Chief Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion, Shri Neeraj Mandloi, made a detailed presentation on Madhya

Pradesh’s rapidly growing economy, investor-friendly policies and strong industrial infrastructure. He said that Madhya Pradesh, located in the heart of India, provides easy access to nearly 60 per cent of the country’s population within a 1,000-kilometre radius, allowing products to reach major consumer markets more quickly. The state’s GSDP growth rate has averaged around 12.7 per cent over the past five years.

The presentation highlighted food processing, textiles and apparel, renewable energy, logistics, mining and tourism as key investment opportunities. The presentation also highlighted investment opportunities across the farm-to-fashion value chain, including organic cotton, as well as in multimodal logistics hubs, Inland Container Depots (ICDs), Multi-Modal Logistics Parks (MMLPs), renewable energy generation and storage, and mineral resources.

The session also emphasised the need to further strengthen trade ties between Dubai and Madhya Pradesh through the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA).

An audio-visual presentation highlighting investment opportunities, policies and infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh was also screened during the session. At the conclusion of the session, Secretary of the Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Department, Shri John Kingsley, thanked all the investors and industrialists for their participation
