Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav visited the Madhya Pradesh Pavilion at SEMICON India 2026 at Yashobhoomi, New Delhi, and met representatives of leading national and international companies in the semiconductor and electronics sectors. He discussed investment opportunities, technology collaboration and expansion of the semiconductor sector in Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh offers an investor-friendly environment, with significant opportunities in emerging sectors such as semiconductors, chip design and electronics. He said, “The State Government is committed to providing necessary support and facilities to industries.” The Chief Minister interacted with representatives of Paras Semiconductors, Thomson Semiconductors, Sprintonics AI, NXP India, Marvell Semiconductors, L&T Semiconductors and Swadesh IC Semiconductors, among others.
CM Dr. Yadav Holds Discussions with Global Companies
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also met a delegation which included the International Semiconductor Industry Group (ISIG), comprising representatives of Akratech, Canon and Kaijo from Japan; Hanwha and Gensom Inc. from Korea; and Mactermid Alpha from the USA. He also interacted with representatives of Oxide Corporation, Scale Photonics and Impute Inc. from Japan.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that SEMICON India 2026 is an important platform for dialogue and collaboration with the global semiconductor industry. He said, “Madhya Pradesh is ready to build new partnerships in the sector, leveraging its industrial capabilities, investment opportunities and available resources.” The Chief Minister also met representatives of chip design and semiconductor companies, including Kishkindha International, Digicom, Signity, Stembo Technology, True-Chip Solution, Banashree Semiconductors, VLSI Expert and Newzimo Semiconductors. He also visited the Mohali Chip Designing Pavilion and the Swedish Pavilion. Discussions at SEMICON India 2026 focused on investment opportunities and technological collaboration in semiconductors, chip design and electronics in Madhya Pradesh.
Major Investors’ Summit to Be Held in Indore on October 23–24
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh offers extensive investment opportunities in the semiconductor sector and that the State Government is making sustained efforts to attract investors from India and abroad.
The Madhya Pradesh Pavilion at SEMICON India 2026, being held at Yashobhoomi, Dwarka, New Delhi, is facilitating interactions between state officials, investors and business representatives from various sectors. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that interest in the semiconductor industry has grown significantly in India under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, and Madhya Pradesh is emerging as an important investment destination for the sector.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, speaking to media representatives after visiting the Madhya Pradesh Pavilion at SEMICON India 2026 on Friday, said that a major investors’ summit will be held in Indore on October 23–24. Investors from the semiconductor industry will be briefed on investment opportunities and the state’s policies during the summit. The event will also showcase Madhya Pradesh’s investment potential to investors at the national and international levels.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the State Government is moving forward with a clear commitment to policy-driven investment in the semiconductor sector. An enabling environment is being developed in Madhya Pradesh to support the growth of the semiconductor industry, while attractive policies are offering investors opportunities to establish and expand their operations in the state. He said semiconductor-sector investors were also invited during the Global Investors Summit (GIS-2025), and some investors have already taken significant steps in this direction.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said the expansion of the semiconductor industry would create new opportunities for employment and skill development for the youth of Madhya Pradesh. Several business groups are also looking to expand their operations through partnerships with foreign companies, which could contribute to the development of a broader industrial and business ecosystem in the state. He said Madhya Pradesh has emerged as an important business and investment destination, with investors from diverse sectors showing interest in the state. The government is maintaining dialogue with such investors.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh offers investor-friendly policies, an adequate land bank and significant scope for skill development. The state is poised to play an important role in the semiconductor sector in the coming years, with substantial potential in the Bhopal and Indore metropolitan areas.
