Aug 2026 : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav left for New Delhi by flight this morning to attend the third Apex Monitoring Authority meeting of the National Industrial Corridor Development and Implementation Trust. The meeting, chaired by Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, will be held today, Monday, at Hotel Ashoka in New Delhi. Union Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, Union Railways Minister Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari, Union Ports, Shipping and Waterways Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, NITI Aayog officials and Chief Ministers of various states will participate in the meeting.
The meeting will discuss activities being undertaken with the objective of establishing Madhya Pradesh as a major industrial hub in the country. Discussions will include the Delhi-Nagpur Industrial Corridor, Bharat Industrial Development Scheme (BHAVYA), the state’s expressway-based industrial development plan and the action plan for strengthening logistics infrastructure.
