Mumbai, Sept 2026 : Vinita Ved Singal, Principal Secretary of the Department of Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation, has been promoted to the post of Additional Chief Secretary (ACS).
Principal Secretary and Director General of the Information and Public Relations Department Brijesh Singh congratulated her on her promotion.
Director (Administration) Dr Kishor Gangurde, Director (News and Public Relations) Govind Ahankari, Deputy Director (News) Varsha Andhale, Deputy Director (Publications) Jagdish More and Assistant Director Irshad Bagwan were present on the occasion.
Additional Chief Secretary Vinita Ved Singal is a senior Maharashtra-cadre officer of the 1996 batch. Born on July 7, 1970, she holds a postgraduate degree (MA) in English Literature.
She is currently serving as Principal Secretary of the Department of Disaster Management, Relief and Rehabilitation. During her career, she has held several key positions, including Principal Secretary, District Collector, Managing Director, Municipal Commissioner, Director General, Chief Executive Officer, Secretary, Commissioner and Sub-Divisional Officer.
