London, Aug 2026 : Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Sunday urged the Telugu diaspora living in London to actively promote the objectives of the state’s ‘Telangana Rising’ initiative globally and help showcase its development vision on the international stage.
Revanth Reddy, accompanied by Telangana Information Technology and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu, interacted with representatives of the Telugu diaspora in London and discussed the state’s development priorities, investment opportunities and future growth prospects.
During the interaction, the Chief Minister called upon the Telugu community abroad to become active partners in Telangana’s development and act as ambassadors for the state across the world.
“Telugu diaspora should also be partners in the development of Telangana,” Revanth Reddy said, urging members of the community to actively communicate the goals and objectives of ‘Telangana Rising’ to the international community.
He emphasised that people of Telangana and Telugu origin living overseas can play an important role in taking the state’s development story to a wider global audience. Their presence across different countries, he said, could help create greater awareness about Telangana’s economic potential, investment opportunities and long-term development ambitions.
The Chief Minister also encouraged the diaspora to strengthen its connection with Telangana and contribute to the state’s development initiatives. He highlighted the importance of maintaining strong links between the state and its global community as Telangana seeks to expand its international presence.
Sridhar Babu also participated in the interaction and held discussions with representatives of the Telugu community on Telangana’s development plans and future opportunities.
Revanth Reddy’s appeal came as the Telangana Rising delegation is conducting a series of programmes in the United Kingdom to showcase investment opportunities and present the state’s development vision to international investors, institutions and policymakers.
As part of the visit, the delegation has also engaged with leading educational institutions in the UK to explore opportunities in education, research and entrepreneurship. These interactions are aimed at strengthening international partnerships and creating new avenues for collaboration in sectors that can contribute to Telangana’s economic and technological growth.
The Chief Minister reiterated that the Telugu diaspora has a significant role to play in strengthening Telangana’s image and presence globally. He urged community members to use their professional networks and international connections to highlight the state’s achievements and emerging opportunities.
The interaction also underscored the government’s broader effort to engage with the global Telugu community and encourage its participation in Telangana’s development journey.
Revanth Reddy said the support and involvement of the diaspora could help Telangana build stronger international partnerships, attract investments and establish itself as a competitive destination for business, technology, education and innovation.
He called upon Telugu people living abroad to remain connected with their roots and work collectively to promote the vision of a progressive and globally connected Telangana.
