Chief Secretary directs departments and district administrations to ensure early resolution of pending cases
Emphasis on time-bound action in matters related to land acquisition, compensation disbursement and Right of Way
Jaipur, Sept 2026 : A review meeting was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Shri V. Srinivas to review cases related to infrastructure projects pending in various districts through the Project Monitoring Group (PMG). During the review, the progress of pending matters related to land acquisition, compensation disbursement, transfer of government land and Right of Way (RoW) was discussed.
The Chief Secretary directed that effective coordination at the departmental and district levels be ensured for the resolution of pending cases. He instructed that action be taken within the prescribed timelines in cases where processes related to land acquisition, compensation disbursement or transfer of government land are pending. He also directed the concerned officers and the Collectors of various districts connected through VC to identify local-level obstacles affecting the projects and provide the necessary administrative support for their resolution.
The Chief Secretary said that pending cases should be monitored regularly to avoid unnecessary delays in projects. The concerned departments should ensure the prompt resolution of bottlenecks through mutual coordination. He also directed that necessary action in matters related to land acquisition and compensation disbursement be completed at the earliest.
Additional Chief Secretary, Industries Department, Shri Shikhar Agrawal, directed the concerned officers to update data related to all development works on the departmental portal, undertake continuous follow-up on the progress of projects, and, wherever necessary, coordinate with the district administration, concerned departments and project agencies to jointly ensure resolution of issues. Industries Commissioner Shri Neelabh Saxena also urged the concerned departments and districts to ensure the expeditious resolution of pending PMG cases in the State.
