Rural Residents Benefit from Government Schemes and Services at Seva Sankalp Camps

Camps in Balrampur district provide certificates, Ayushman cards, loan books and housing approvals while addressing villagers’ grievances

Raipur, October 2026: Rural residents benefited from various government schemes and public services at camps organised in Kotdih and Karoundha villages of Balrampur district under the Seva Sankalp campaign.

At the camps, public representatives distributed certificates, loan books, Ayushman cards and housing approval letters to eligible beneficiaries. Officials from different departments provided information about government schemes and encouraged eligible residents to avail themselves of the benefits available to them.

A camp was organised in Kotdih village of Rajpur development block in the presence of Surguja MP Chintamani Maharaj. Eligible beneficiaries received income, caste and residence certificates, along with loan books and Ayushman cards.

The camp also provided an opportunity for villagers to raise their grievances. Officials from the concerned departments heard their problems and initiated necessary action for their resolution. The availability of essential services and documents at a single location provided considerable convenience to rural residents.

A Seva Setu camp was also organised at Karoundha Gram Panchayat under Kusmi Janpad Panchayat, where Samari MLA Uddeshwari Paikra was present. Residents from 11 gram panchayats in the cluster attended the camp and visited stalls set up by various departments to obtain information about government schemes and services.

A total of 32 applications were received during the camp. Of these, 30 were resolved on the spot, while timelines were fixed for addressing the remaining two applications.

MLA Uddeshwari Paikra also distributed housing approval letters to three beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Keys were handed over to two beneficiaries who had completed construction of their houses, enabling them to formally enter their new homes.

In addition, 15 beneficiaries were provided birth and death certificates, five received loan books and three were given Ayushman cards.

The distribution of house keys brought visible happiness to the beneficiaries who had completed construction of their permanent homes. The camps under the Seva Sankalp campaign provided villagers with access to multiple government services at their doorstep while facilitating the delivery of welfare schemes to eligible beneficiaries.

Through such camps, government departments are working to bring services closer to rural communities, provide information about welfare schemes and address public grievances through coordinated efforts.
