Sept 2026: A counselling session was held today for the 10 students selected through the UPSC Grooming Scheme Entrance Examination 2026 at the Mizoram Board of School Education (MBSE) Conference Hall in Chaltlang, Aizawl.
The counselling session was attended by 10 experienced experts in the field of Civil Services Examination, along with officials from the MBSE. The students and their parents were briefed about the structure of the UPSC Grooming Scheme, its implementation and the progress made so far. MBSE officials also shared words of appreciation, encouragement and motivation with the students.
The 10 experts shared their experiences of appearing for and preparing for Civil Services examinations. They explained the UPSC examination process, methods of preparation, challenges involved and the nature of work undertaken by civil servants. They also offered valuable guidance and motivation to the selected students.
The students and their parents were further briefed about the coaching classes that will be conducted under the scheme and the manner in which the students are expected to progress through the programme.
The counselling session proved highly beneficial for both the students and their parents, providing them with a clearer understanding of the UPSC examination, the preparation process and the opportunities available under the UPSC Grooming Scheme.
