Groundbreaking ceremony held for MRF-SLRM Centre to be constructed in Shivnandanpur at a cost of Rs 65.07 lakh
Raipur, November 2026 : Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade today performed the bhoomipujan (groundbreaking ceremony) for the construction of an MRF-SLRM Centre in Shivnandanpur Nagar Panchayat of Surajpur district. The centre will be built at a cost of Rs 65.07 lakh and is expected to improve the town's systems for waste segregation, recycling and waste management.
The initiative is an important step towards strengthening the town's sanitation infrastructure and developing a clean and beautiful Shivnandanpur. The centre will promote systematic waste management and accelerate efforts to maintain cleanliness across the town.
Nagar Panchayat President Ritesh Jaiswal, Babulal Agrawal, Ajay Goyal, Lalit Goyal, Manibagga, Anshul Goyal, along with other public representatives and prominent citizens, were present on the occasion.
