Speed Up Siddhivinayak Temple Beautification and Facilities – Chief Minister Eknath Shinde
Mumbai : The beautification of the Sri Siddhivinayak Temple should be expedited to provide the best quality facilities for devotees. Chief Minister Eknath Shinde directed that plans should be made to commence this work by the upcoming Ganesh Chaturthi day.
A meeting was held at the Sahyadri State Guest House to review the beautification and facility enhancements for the Sri Siddhivinayak Ganapati Temple premises. Attendees included Guardian Minister of Mumbai City District Deepak Kesarkar, Chairman MLA Sada Saravankar of the Shri Siddhivinayak Trust, former MP Rahul Shewale, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. I. S. Chahal, Mumbai Municipal Corporation Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani, and other dignitaries.
A presentation on the beautification project, funded with five hundred crore rupees from the Mumbai Municipal Corporation, was made before the Chief Minister. The presentation covered various aspects, including accommodation for pilgrims, a five-kilometer corridor around the temple, shops, parking, and a darshan queue for devotees. Chief Minister Shinde emphasized the need for a detailed and expedited plan for these improvements.
