Free Summer Sports Training Camps by Mumbai Suburban District Sports Office

Mumbai : The Mumbai Suburban District Sports Officer’s Office, in collaboration with various sports organizations, will be conducting free summer training camps for different sports from April 28 to May 9, 2025. The initiative includes training in handball, basketball, wushu, powerlifting, weightlifting, and football. District Sports Officer Bhakti Ambre has encouraged maximum participation from young athletes.

Training venues and timings are as follows:

• Basketball: JKP Basketball Court, Acharya Atre Ground, Pantnagar, Ghatkopar (East) – 4:45 PM to 6:00 PM
• Handball: Divisional Sports Complex, Chikuwadi, in front of Mumbai Public School – 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Football: Holy Public School, Andheri – 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Powerlifting and Weightlifting: Fitness Point Gym, Bhandup (West) – 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM
• Wushu: Shri Narayan Guru High School, Chembur, and S.I.E.S. Ghatkopar – 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM

All participating athletes will be felicitated with certificates by District Sports Officers Rashmi Ambedkar and Bhakti Ambre, Sports Executive Officer Preeti Temghare, and Shiv Chhatrapati Awardee Manisha Gargote.
