Educational and Industrial Projects Inaugurated at Shirpur by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis
Dhule, April 2026 : Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis inaugurated various educational institutions and industrial initiatives operated by Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal at Shirpur. After inspecting all the projects, he expressed satisfaction and said that these initiatives will provide better healthcare facilities to local residents and accelerate the development of the region.
The Chief Minister inaugurated the SVKM College of Engineering at Dahivad in Shirpur taluka and reviewed the new building. He expressed satisfaction with the facilities available at the college. The event was attended by Marketing and Protocol Minister and Guardian Minister of Dhule district Jaykumar Rawal, Textile Minister Sanjay Savkare, MLA Amrishbhai Patel, former MLA Kunal Patil, along with local representatives and officials of the institution.
Inauguration of Krishna Cotex Dye House
Chief Minister Fadnavis also inaugurated Krishna Cotex and its dye house in Shirpur. The event was attended by Guardian Minister Jaykumar Rawal, Textile Minister Sanjay Savkare, MLAs Amrishbhai Patel, Amshya Padvi, Rajesh Padvi, Raghvendra Bhadane, Anup Agrawal, former Union Minister of State for Defence Dr. Subhash Bhamre, former MLA Kunal Patil, and former Zilla Parishad President Dharti Devre, among others.
During the visit, the Chief Minister inspected the Krishna Cotex facility, where Janak Patel provided details about the industry.
Foundation Stones Laid for Textile Projects
The foundation stones for the ‘Prath Cotspin Private Limited’ and ‘Acerola Textile Private Limited’ projects at the Shirpur Textile Park were unveiled by Chief Minister Fadnavis.
After the ceremony, he inspected both the Prath Cotspin Textile Park and Acerola Cotex Textile Park. Subsequently, he inaugurated the Shrimati Alka Desai School of Nursing and Research Center at Kharde in Shirpur taluka.
