Shirpur’s Central Library Will Serve as a Knowledge Hub for Students: CM Devendra Fadnavis

Chief Minister Visits Ketkiben Patel Central Library in Shirpur

Dhule, April 2026 : Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis expressed confidence that the Central Library in Shirpur will emerge as a major knowledge hub for students. He made these remarks during his visit to the town, highlighting its overall development.

The Chief Minister visited the Ketkiben Mukeshbhai Patel Central Library in Shirpur on Sunday morning. He was accompanied by MLA Amrishbhai Patel and MLA Kashiram Pawara, among others.

Fadnavis noted that Shirpur has already set an example for the state through its successful water conservation model. He added that the city is now making a distinct mark at the national level in the field of education as well. He praised the establishment of modern educational infrastructure in the city, including the Central Library, stating that such initiatives will significantly benefit students and the wider community.

He further said that alongside advancements in education, Shirpur has also made notable progress in healthcare and industrial sectors. The newly developed modern hospital and other facilities are providing substantial benefits to ordinary citizens, improving access to quality services.

Earlier, the Chief Minister also visited the contact office of MLA Kashiram Pawara during his tour.
