Patna, June 2026: Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary today participated in a Sahyog Camp organised at the Upgraded Higher Secondary School, Gosaipur, in Motipur block of Muzaffarpur district. During the camp, he met people who had come with complaints and grievances seeking solutions. The Chief Minister examined applications, listened to public issues, and issued directions for their resolution. While inspecting the camp, he interacted with people, enquired about their well-being, and discussed local issues.

The Chief Minister remotely inaugurated and laid foundation stones for 109 development schemes worth Rs 288.16 crore for Muzaffarpur district.

He also presented a symbolic cheque of Rs 101 crore to 6,733 self-help group Jeevika Didis for livelihood generation. He distributed certificates and benefits related to the Chief Minister Entrepreneur Scheme, residential land parchas, Ayushman Cards, social security pensions, PM Surya Ghar Yojana, MGNREGA goat sheds, labour cards, ration cards, and birth certificates. During the programme, the District Magistrate presented him with a green sapling, while public representatives welcomed him with mementoes, ceremonial shawls, and flower garlands.

After lighting the ceremonial lamp to inaugurate the programme, the Chief Minister said that he was pleased to visit the Sahyog Camp organised in Parsauni Panchayat of Motipur block. He stated that he had reviewed applications submitted by people and directed officials to resolve their problems.

He said that around 10,000 applications had been received in Muzaffarpur district so far, and nearly 90 percent had already been disposed of by the district administration, which was a matter of satisfaction. He described the Sahyog Camp as a programme dedicated to the people, aimed at resolving their problems. Reports from across the state indicated that most applications received had been addressed, while work on the remaining cases was progressing rapidly.

The Chief Minister said that a fixed timeline had been established for resolving grievances. If no action is taken within 10 days, a first notice will be issued from the Chief Minister’s Office on the 11th day. If no action is taken within 20 days, a second notice will be issued on the 21st day. If the matter remains unresolved after 25 days, a third notice will be sent on the 26th day. If no action is taken within 30 days, a suspension notice will be issued to the concerned official on the 31st day. He said the entire administrative machinery had been informed about this system.

He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had envisioned a developed India, while former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar had envisioned a prosperous Bihar, and everyone would work together to fulfil that dream.

The Chief Minister said that people still remembered the contributions of former Chief Minister Dr. Shri Krishna Singh. He added that Nitish Kumar had advanced the principle of development with justice and built an extensive road network in the state. While Prime Minister Narendra Modi ensured electricity reached every village, Nitish Kumar ensured electricity reached every household. The NDA government is providing 125 units of free electricity to people in the state. Through the PM Surya Ghar scheme, free electricity will be made available for the next 20 years.

He noted that Nitish Kumar had built school infrastructure and recruited 5.28 lakh teachers. He reiterated that female teachers would be transferred to panchayats adjoining their home panchayats, while male teachers would be transferred to blocks adjoining their home blocks. Teachers’ convenience would be considered, but they must remain present in schools and provide quality education.

He said the government had decided to establish model schools in all 534 blocks. These schools would be of such quality that even officials and political leaders would want to enrol their children there. That, he said, would be the true sign of a strong education system in Bihar.

The Chief Minister praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for taking strong action against terrorists and infiltrators. He asserted that no criminal in Bihar would be spared and that anyone challenging the police would receive a response within 48 hours. Bihar, he said, has a glorious history and must regain its past stature. The government is committed to making Bihar prosperous.

He announced that all formalities for establishing an airport in Muzaffarpur had been completed and that the foundation stone would soon be laid. He further stated that the government had decided to reopen three sugar mills. If a fourth sugar mill is opened, it would be established in Motipur. By 2030, Bihar would have 25 operational sugar mills.

The state government has prepared a budget of Rs 3.47 lakh crore, and Bihar is progressing steadily on the path of development with full support from the Central Government. To create a prosperous and proud Bihar, everyone must work together.

The Chief Minister said the Cabinet had approved the development of 11 satellite townships. A new satellite township named “Tirhut” will be developed in this region over 22,000 acres of land. He said Muzaffarpur city must be made more organised and modern.

He added that the government plans to introduce a rapid rail system. Once operational, people will be able to reach Muzaffarpur within 30–40 minutes.

Appealing to all public representatives, he urged them to regularly visit Sahyog Camps, interact with people, understand their problems, collect feedback on grievance redressal, and share that information with him. He stressed that every effort should be made to ensure people benefit from these camps.

The Chief Minister concluded by saying that the government’s objective is to make the people of Bihar prosperous, and achieving that goal would require collective effort from all sections of society.

Several ministers, MPs, MLAs, senior officials, beneficiaries of various schemes, and large numbers of local residents were present on the occasion.
