New Delhi, June 2026 : To make government services more accessible and convenient for citizens, the Delhi Government will organise large-scale Jan Kalyan Shivir (Public Welfare Camps) at 42 locations across the capital from June 18 to June 20. According to Chief Minister Smt. Rekha Gupta, these camps will bring together various welfare schemes and public services of both the Central and Delhi Governments on a single platform, eliminating the need for citizens to visit multiple offices.
The Chief Minister said the objective of the camps is to take governance to the people’s doorstep and ensure the prompt resolution of citizens’ grievances. The government’s priority is to ensure that eligible beneficiaries receive the benefits of welfare schemes in a timely and transparent manner. With this objective, all concerned departments have been directed to participate in the camps and resolve as many cases as possible on the spot. Most of the camps, she said, will be set up in school premises to provide citizens with convenient and easily accessible venues. Adequate arrangements will also be made for seating, waiting areas and assistance for visitors. All camps will function daily from 10 am to 5 pm.
CM Rekha Gupta said officials and staff from several departments, including the Irrigation and Flood Control Department, Delhi Jal Board, Power Department, Transport Department, Urban Development Department, Health and Family Welfare Department, Education Department, Women and Child Development Department and Revenue Department, will be present at the camps. A wide range of citizen-related applications and services will be addressed on the spot, along with necessary guidance and assistance.
She said the camps will offer services related to Pink Cards, registration and loan facilities under the Pradhan Mantri SVANidhi Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, ration card services, Aadhaar registration, e-Shram cards, Jan Dhan accounts, and loan facilities for Start-up India, MSMEs and industries. Citizens will also be able to obtain information and benefits related to solar energy under the PM Surya Ghar, Muft Bijli Yojana.
The Chief Minister said special facilities will also be available for women, senior citizens and weaker sections of society. Services under the PM Matru Vandana Yojana, Ladli Yojana, Widow Daughter Marriage Assistance Scheme, widow and disability pensions, as well as updating and renewal of records of other pension beneficiaries, will be provided at the camps. Information and benefits related to various welfare schemes for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities will also be made available.
She further said that facilities for issuing Ayushman Cards to senior citizens above 70 years of age and BPL card holders will be available at the camps. Special arrangements will also be made to assist eligible senior citizens under the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana. In addition, programmes such as Hauslon Ki Udaan and Talent Hunt will provide opportunities to encourage and showcase the talents of young people.
CM Rekha Gupta said citizens will also be able to avail services related to the regularisation of water connections under the LPSC Scheme of the Delhi Jal Board, property tax-related services and matters connected with the PM-UDAY Scheme. Alongside this, saplings will be distributed under the Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam campaign to promote environmental awareness and conservation. Appealing to Delhi residents to visit their nearest Public Welfare Camp, the Chief Minister urged them to take advantage of the various schemes and services offered by the Central and Delhi Governments. She said the Jan Kalyan Shivir reflect the government’s commitment to good governance, transparency and public service, and will play an important role in ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach the last person in society.
