Indias Spiritual Heritage has Inspired Nations across World: CM Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that India’s spiritual and knowledge traditions have inspired nations across the world and continue to serve as a guiding force for humanity. The Chief Minister said, addressing a programme held on Saturday evening at the Ravindra Bhavan premises for the unveiling of a handcrafted artistic portrait of Baba Nib Karori Maharaj, that this enduring spiritual legacy is reflected in the large number of devotees from across the globe who visit Kainchi Dham in Uttarakhand to seek the blessings of Baba Nib Karori Maharaj.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Swami Vivekananda had also demonstrated the richness of India’s knowledge tradition before scholars around the world. He noted that even in an era when material progress was not the primary measure of civilisation, India’s spiritual strength had earned global recognition and respect. The Chief Minister said that the lives of those who came into contact with the revered spiritual leader Baba Nib Karori Maharaj were transformed by his guidance and teachings. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, referring to the ashram established near Nainital in 1964, where a statue of Lord Hanuman is installed, that Baba Nib Karori Maharaj, an ardent devotee of Lord Hanuman, embodied the ideals of love, compassion and selfless service. He believed that sincere faith and selfless service could overcome every challenge in life.

The programme was attended by MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, former Union Minister Shri Suresh Pachouri, Shri Kailash Mishra and Baba Nib Karori Maharaj’s grandson, Dr. Dhananjay Sharma, along with a large number of devotees.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the artist from West Bengal who created the 30 ft × 30 ft artistic portrait of Baba Nib Karori Maharaj, as well as members of the Baba Nib Karori Rambeti Education Charitable Trust associated with the initiative. The Chief Minister offered floral tributes to the portraits of Lord Hanuman and Baba Nib Karori Maharaj.
