Chief Minister Listens to 130th Episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Doon Library

Dehradun, January 2026: Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami on Sunday listened to the 130th episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Doon Library near Parade Ground, Dehradun.

Extending greetings on the occasion of National Voters’ Day, the Chief Minister said that each episode of ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is inspirational. The program highlights the efforts of people who serve society selflessly in ordinary circumstances, bringing their work to national and global attention. He added that Prime Minister Modi has made ‘Mann Ki Baat’ a program for every citizen, which also motivates others to contribute positively.

The Chief Minister highlighted that under the Prime Minister’s leadership, India is witnessing numerous innovations. In the fields of innovation, science, technology, and artificial intelligence (AI), the country is progressing rapidly. Speaking about the growing role of AI, he said that in the near future, AI will play a significant role in all tasks, drastically reducing the time required for work—from several days to just a few hours. He noted that relevant departments in the state are actively working on the implementation and use of AI.

Shri Dhami said that inspired by the Prime Minister, the state government has taken several unprecedented decisions, establishing Uttarakhand as a pioneering state in the country. He mentioned that January 27 will mark one year since the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in the state.

The Chief Minister recalled that the state government had promised the implementation of the UCC before the 2022 Assembly elections, and that promise has now been fulfilled. He emphasized that as a border state with the origins of the Ganga and Yamuna rivers and the Char Dham pilgrimage sites, Uttarakhand is highly sensitive from a security perspective, making a uniform law for all residents essential—a step the government successfully implemented.

Shri Dhami urged citizens to actively participate in spreading awareness about central and state government welfare schemes and the state’s key decisions, so that more people can benefit from these initiatives.

The event was attended by MLA Shri Khajan Das, MLA Shri Suresh Gardhia, Media Advisory Committee Chairman Prof. Govind Bisht, Shri Anil Goyal, Shri Sanjay Negi, Officer-in-Charge Rajni Rawat, and others.
