Ajit Dada’s Passing Pierces the Heart – Minister Pankaja Munde

Mumbai, Jan 2026 : “Dada, this was not the way you were meant to take an exit!! You have left us with deep pain… You will always remain in our memories. We travelled together, held discussions, and shared countless conversations. Your political and academic sense was exceptional. Through your speeches and sharp sense of humour, you made people laugh even while speaking frankly. But today, with your departure, you have left your workers in tears. Leaders of your experience are not born again… Maharashtra has lost a truly dynamic leader. A respectful tribute from the Gopinath Munde family,” said Minister for Environment and Climate Change and Animal Husbandry, Pankaja Munde, while paying homage to Ajit Pawar.

Deeply grief-stricken after the accidental death of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, Pankaja Munde paid her heartfelt tribute to Ajit Dada in emotional words.

Mrs. Munde said that through his work and conduct, Ajit Dada had created a distinct aura in Maharashtra’s politics. He was widely known as a leader who always stood by his word. A mass leader who lived among the people and worked tirelessly for them is no longer with us, and it is hard to believe this reality.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was known as an efficient administrator, a man of his word, and a personality with immense dedication to work. The news of such a leader’s untimely demise is deeply painful. With his passing, Maharashtra has lost a cultured and dignified “Dada” personality. The state can never forget Ajit Dada, who left a lasting mark through his studious nature and relentless work ethic.

May God grant the Pawar family the strength to bear this immense loss, Mrs. Munde said while expressing her condolences.
