An Able Administrator and Resolute Leader Lost – Forest Minister Ganesh Naik

Mumbai, Jan 2026 : The sudden demise of Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Dada Pawar, who left a distinct mark on state politics through his visionary and resolute leadership, is extremely painful. With Dada’s passing, Maharashtra has lost a towering “Dada” personality from its political landscape, said Forest Minister Ganesh Naik while paying tribute.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar died in a plane crash at Baramati. His passing has created a major void in politics. Maharashtra has lost a priceless gem, Naik expressed.

In his condolence message, Naik said that Ajit Dada’s dedication to work had taken the state’s development to new heights. Though he was forthright, he was uncompromising when it came to the quality of work. He never tolerated negligence. A people’s leader with a strong command over administration and a clear vision for development has left us today. His demise is a loss that can never be filled.

May Dada’s soul attain eternal peace—this is our prayer at the feet of God. We stand with the Pawar family in their grief, and we also share the sorrow of the families of those who lost their lives in the accident, said Minister Ganesh Naik while offering his tribute.
