Navgurukul Turning Youth Aspirations into Reality

Raipur, January 2026 : Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the state government is providing better opportunities for skill development and employment to the youth. In this direction, Navgurukul, operating in Jashpur district, is emerging as a powerful medium of positive change in the lives of young people. Through training at Navgurukul, young women of the district are not only securing employment but are also becoming shining examples of self-reliance and confidence.

Neharika Finds Her Dream Job

Neharika Lakra from Jashpur, who completed her early education in her village, has become self-reliant after completing a programming course at the Navgurukul Jashpur campus. Coming from a family with limited resources—her father being a farmer and her mother working as a cook—Neharika learned about Navgurukul through her school teachers.

During her training, she gained not only technical knowledge but also essential life skills such as leadership, professional conduct, English communication and self-confidence. After completing her course, Neharika secured her first job as a Customer Relationship Executive at Kingdom of Chess. Currently, she is working as a computer teacher at KPS (Kusmi Public School). According to Neharika, Navgurukul gave her not just a job, but also confidence and the right direction in life.

Neelam Secures a High-Paying Opportunity Through Navgurukul

The story of Neelam Yadav, also from Jashpur district, further highlights the success of Navgurukul. Neelam completed her schooling in government and private schools in Jashpur. She learned about Navgurukul through a seminar organised at her school and a programme held at Swami Atmanand School.

After enrolling at the Navgurukul Jashpur campus, Neelam developed expertise in data analytics and basic accounting, along with English communication, life skills and soft skills. Within a year of completing her training, she secured employment as a Marketing Executive at Umashree Techsplast Private Limited in Ahmedabad. With the education and confidence she gained at Navgurukul, Neelam has given her life a new direction.
