Chief Minister Extends Best Wishes for the Successful Organisation of Sirpur Mahotsav

Raipur, January 2026 : Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has extended his best wishes for the successful organisation of the Sirpur Mahotsav, which will be held from February 1 to 3 at Sirpur, a site of great historical significance in Mahasamund district.

A delegation led by Mahasamund MLA Shri Yogeshwar Raju Sinha met the Chief Minister at Mahanadi Bhavan, the state secretariat, and formally invited him to attend the Sirpur Mahotsav scheduled to take place from February 1 to 3 at the historic town of Sirpur.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the Sirpur Mahotsav is organised every year in a grand and dignified manner with the objective of preserving Chhattisgarh’s ancient cultural, historical and archaeological heritage and presenting it to the general public. He noted that the festival not only strengthens the state’s rich cultural identity but also plays an important role in establishing it on the national मंच.

Praising Sirpur’s historical and cultural legacy, the Chief Minister said that such events help promote tourism and create new opportunities for employment and livelihoods for local residents. He extended advance congratulations and best wishes to the organisers for the successful conduct of the Sirpur Mahotsav.

On this occasion, Mahasamund Collector Shri Vinay Kumar Langeh, Superintendent of Police Shri Prashant Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of the Sirpur Special Area Development Authority (SADA) Shri Dhammasheel Ganveer, and Shri Dharmendra Mahobiya were also present.
