Chief Minister performs Shodashopachar poojan and prays for public welfare

Varanasi : Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Baba Vishwanath and Kaal Bhairav Temple for the second time during the month of Shravan. Earlier, on the first Monday of Shravan, he had also visited the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple.

During his visit, the Chief Minister entered the sanctum sanctorum of Baba Vishwanath and performed the Shodashopachar Puja, praying for the welfare of the public.

CM Yogi Adityanath also performed rituals and worshipped ‘Kashi Kotwal’ Baba Kaal Bhairav, seeking his blessings.

As he was leaving, the Chief Minister interacted with the children and distributed prasad and chocolates to them.

State government ministers Anil Rajbhar, Ravindra Jaiswal, Dayashankar Mishra ‘Dayalu,’ and MLA Saurabh Srivastava, among others, were present during the darshan and puja.

From Kaal Bhairav temple, CM Yogi went to the Baba Vishwanath temple. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath greeted the devotees who had come to perform Jalabhishek. Upon seeing the CM, the devotees of Baba enthusiastically chanted “Har-Har Mahadev.”

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who arrived in Varanasi on a two-day visit on Saturday, instructed the temple, district, and police officials to ensure that all facilities for the devotees are well-maintained throughout the remaining days of the Shravan month. He also extended his warm wishes to the devotees for Rakshabandhan.

It is noteworthy thar Yogi Adityanath reached the Kashi Vishwanath Temple for darshan for the 125th time as Chief Minister.
