The programme was organised at the tehsil level in Gram Bharar (Jamgaon-R) in Durg district as part of the grand Karma Mahotsav and mass ideal marriage ceremony. The event showcased social harmony and cultural values, bringing together people from different sections of society.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister announced financial assistance of ₹50 lakh for the construction of a shed at the Sahu Samaj Bhavan in Patan. He also declared ₹10 lakh for the construction of toilets and a shed in Gram Bharar Panchayat, along with funds for building a CC road in the village, aimed at accelerating local development.

He paid tribute to Mata Karma, recalling her devotion and spirit of service, and said her life continues to inspire society. He also remembered late Tarachand Sahu and shared his personal experiences of working with him.
Highlighting the achievements of the state government, Sai said that in the past 28 months, significant steps have been taken to establish good governance and fulfil the promises under “Modi ki Guarantee.” He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for efforts to build a self-reliant and strong India.
He noted that around 18 lakh families in the state are benefiting from the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Farmers have received pending bonus payments, and paddy procurement is being carried out at ₹3,100 per quintal. Under the “Mahtari Vandan Yojana,” women are being provided monthly financial assistance, enabling them to become self-reliant and start small businesses such as tailoring and grocery shops.
The Chief Minister also highlighted that nearly 42,000 people have benefited from the “Ram Lalla Darshan Yojana” over the past two years. He described the reduction of Naxal-related issues and the acceleration of development in the Bastar region as key achievements of the state.

Through the “Mor Bijli App,” users can register online and check their eligibility, with the scheme offering a 100 percent waiver on interest and surcharge on outstanding bills.
He further added that Atal Digital Centres are being established in villages to make digital services more accessible, while primary agricultural credit societies are ensuring the availability of fertilisers and seeds to farmers.
