Yogi Adityanath visits Kashi Vishwanath Temple and offers prayers for the 125th time as CM
Varanasi : Chief Minister and Gorakshapeethadhiswar Yogi Adityanath, on Saturday, visited the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and offered prayers for the 125th time as the CM of Uttar Pradesh. Notably, Yogi is the only CM to have visited Kashi Vishwanath and Kashi Kotwal Kaal Bhairav 125 times, praying for the prosperity and well-being of the people.
Yogi Adityanath reached his 100th temple visit milestone in March 2023. On average, the Chief Minister visits Kashi once or twice a month, with each stay lasting between one and two days.
It is worth mentioning here that despite the demands of governing a large state like Uttar Pradesh, Yogi has remained deeply connected to spirituality and religion ever since he took over as the Cjhief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in 2017. In addition to visiting Adiyogi, he has also offered prayers at the Sankat Mochan Temple, Durgakund Durga Temple, and others.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has been closely involved in every stage of the redevelopment of Shri Kashi Vishwanath Dham, from the Bhoomi Pujan to the inauguration. Every aspect of the Dham has been developed under his direct supervision.
CM Yogi ensured that all necessary facilities for devotees were taken care of, resulting in a noticeable increase in the number of visitors, thanks to the improved amenities and easier access to darshan.
Senior priest Shrikant Mishra, who frequently performs rituals for Yogi Adityanath at Baba Vishwanath’s temple, observes that the Chief Minister’s deep devotion and heartfelt connection to Baba is evident. “Yogi ji always worships Baba with a genuine desire for the well-being of the country, state, and its people”, he remarked.
