Jaipur to Witness Indian Air Force’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Show on February 22
Jaipur, February 2026 : Preparations for the Indian Air Force’s world-renowned Surya Kiran Aerobatic Show, proposed to be held on February 22 at Jal Mahal in Jaipur, were reviewed in a high-level meeting chaired by Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Bhaskar Atmaram Sawant. Officers from the Air Force, Police, General Administration Department, Tourism Department, Public Works Department, Municipal Corporation, Jaipur Development Authority, and other concerned departments attended the meeting.
During the meeting held at the Secretariat on Wednesday, detailed discussions were held on the date and venue of the event, traffic and parking arrangements, seating arrangements at the venue, and overall security measures.
Indian Air Force Group Captain Vinay Bhardwaj informed that the Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team’s 11 fighter jets, along with six helicopters from the Sarang team, will thrill spectators with their precise coordination and vibrant smoke patterns. More than 75,000 people are expected to attend the event.
To ensure tight security, the entire venue will be monitored through CCTV cameras, and special traffic management arrangements will be put in place.
Principal Secretary of the General Administration Department, Naveen Jain, briefed the Additional Chief Secretary on the preparations being made by the department and the Jaipur district administration.
The meeting was attended by Jaipur Divisional Commissioner Poonam, Police Commissioner Sachin Mittal, JDC Siddharth Mahajan, Jaipur District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, Tourism Commissioner Rukmani Riar, Municipal Corporation Commissioner Dr. Gaurav Saini, Additional Police Commissioner (Law and Order) Dr. Rajiv Pachhar, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sumit Mehrda, along with other officials from the police, public works, transport, and JDA departments.
