Complete Construction of Proposed Sahakar Bhavans Within Prescribed Timeframe: Minister of State Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar

Mumbai, Feb 2026 : Emphasizing the importance of providing integrated and well-equipped facilities to institutions in the cooperative sector, Minister of State for Cooperation Dr. Pankaj Bhoyar has directed that the construction of under-construction and proposed Sahakar Bhavans across various districts of the state be completed within the stipulated time limits. After conducting a detailed review, he also instructed officials to initiate prompt action to ensure land availability in areas where suitable sites have not yet been finalized.

A review meeting regarding the construction and planning of Sahakar Bhavans in different districts of the state was held at Mantralaya under the chairmanship of Dr. Bhoyar. Senior officials from the Cooperation Department and the Public Works Department were present at the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Minister of State Dr. Bhoyar said that district-level officials must immediately take necessary steps to ensure land availability and obtain administrative approvals required for the construction of Sahakar Bhavans. He noted that these buildings would provide cooperative institutions at the district level with office facilities and essential infrastructure for coordination under one roof.

Dr. Bhoyar further instructed that all works should be completed strictly in accordance with the approved plans and within the defined timelines.

During the meeting, concerned divisional officers and district-level agencies made presentations on the progress of Sahakar Bhavan construction projects. A detailed review was undertaken on the availability of funds, technical approvals, and the current status of ongoing and proposed works related to Sahakar Bhavans.
