Vivek Bhimanwar Sworn In as Chairman of Maharashtra Public Service Commission

Mumbai, February 2026 : At a ceremony held in the conference hall of Lok Bhavan, Vivek Laxman Bhimanwar was administered the oath of office and secrecy as the Chairman of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission by Acharya Devvrat.

The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, among other dignitaries.

Also present on the occasion were the outgoing Chairman of the Public Service Commission Rajnish Sheth, Secretary Mahendra Uttamrao Harpalkar, Member Dr. Abhay Wagh, Member Dr. Dilip Patil–Bhujbal, Member Rajiv Nivatkar, Member Dr. Satish Deshpande, and Principal Secretary of the Law and Judiciary Department Dilip Ghumre, along with other officials.

The oath-taking ceremony took place in Mumbai.
