Chhattisgarh Youth Shine Nationally at India AI Impact Buildathon
Feb 2026 : The flag of Chhattisgarh has been raised high on the national stage of artificial intelligence, as Raipur-based siblings Anurag Manik and Aastha Manik secured first place at the India AI Impact Buildathon. Congratulating them, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai said their achievement has brought pride to the entire state.
The prestigious AI Impact Summit was held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, where young innovators from across the country showcased their talent. Competing against more than 40,000 participants and successfully clearing three rigorous stages, Anurag and Aastha’s top finish stands as a testament to their exceptional talent, hard work, and innovative thinking.
Chief Minister Sai said this success symbolizes the capability, confidence, and growing technological strength of Chhattisgarh’s youth. He especially praised their award-winning AI application, “Kartavya,” which emerged as a major highlight of the competition. The app is designed to distinguish between AI-generated voices and real human voices, helping protect people from digital fraud and cyber deception. He noted that such an effort to connect advanced technology with social responsibility is both highly relevant and inspiring in today’s digital age.
The Chief Minister further said that while preserving their traditions and rich cultural heritage, the youth of Chhattisgarh are also taking a leading role in modern technology and innovation. This achievement, he added, is strong evidence of the state’s overall progress in education, innovation, and the expansion of opportunities for young minds.
Expressing confidence in the future, Chief Minister Sai said that the youth of the state will continue to scale new heights and give Chhattisgarh a distinct identity not only across India but also globally. He reaffirmed that the state government remains fully committed to encouraging young people and providing continuous support and opportunities in the fields of technology, innovation, and startups.
He concluded by wishing Anurag Manik and Aastha Manik continued success, expressing hope that their journey will inspire many more young innovators from Chhattisgarh to dream big and contribute meaningfully to society through technology.
