INTACH Headquarters Produces Documentary Film on Living Museum, Falkawn
Aizawl, February 2026: The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH) Headquarters, New Delhi, has begun producing a documentary film on the Living Museum, Falkawn, in collaboration with the Art & Culture Department, Government of Mizoram. For the making of this documentary, the Art & Culture Department has provided full cooperation and logistical support.
The Living Museum, Falkawn, was inaugurated on October 25 last year under the leadership of C. Lalsawivunga, Minister for Art & Culture. The museum has received high appreciation from the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India. Recognising its significance, the Ministry issued an advisory on January 29 this year, encouraging all States and Union Territories across India to prepare proposals for establishing similar Living Museums.
For the documentary production, INTACH’s partner agency Mime Media Private Limited, New Delhi, arrived in Mizoram and commenced filming at the Living Museum, Falkawn, today.
