Vaishnaw Praises Rajasthan’s AI Initiatives at India AI Impact Summit 2026
Jaipur, February 2026 : During the India AI Impact Summit 2026 held at Bharat Mandapam, Union Minister for Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw visited the Rajasthan Pavilion on Saturday and reviewed the state’s key initiatives in the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
On the occasion, the Minister was briefed on the Rajasthan government’s major AI-driven programmes. Under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, these initiatives include the use of AI in governance, digitisation of citizen-centric services, and AI-based applications across healthcare, education, agriculture, and administrative sectors.
Shri Vaishnaw appreciated Rajasthan’s innovative efforts to advance AI-enabled governance and promote digital transformation in the state. He noted that Rajasthan’s initiatives align well with India’s broader AI strategy, which focuses on inclusive, responsible, and citizen-centric development.
Notably, the Information Technology and Communication Department showcased the state’s technology-led innovations through around 20 stalls at the Rajasthan Pavilion. The pavilion served as an important national platform to highlight Rajasthan’s growing AI capabilities and progress in digital governance.
