Lucknow North Gets New Momentum for Development
Roads to Be Built in Faizullaganj at a Cost of ₹2 Crore
MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora Inaugurates Works with Bhoomi Pujan
Lucknow, Feb 2026 : Taking forward the resolve of Lucknow North on the path of continuous development, MLA Dr. Neeraj Bora inaugurated road and drainage works worth approximately ₹2 crore in Faizullaganj by performing a bhoomi pujan (ground-breaking ceremony). These works are expected to ease traffic movement and provide relief from the problem of waterlogging.

On this occasion, Dr. Bora said that ensuring strong basic infrastructure in every area of Lucknow North is his top priority. All these works are being carried out from the infrastructure fund of the Lucknow Development Authority. He also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, for his support.
As part of the programme, bhoomi pujan was performed for several key projects, including construction of the main road from Sitapur Road to Bhargava Farm, construction of a CC road and drain from Berry Hotel Chauraha to Shiv Temple in Dwarkapuri, and strengthening of the main road along with drainage work from Berry Hotel through Murghi Farm up to Sitapur Road in Faizullaganj First Ward.
The event was attended by Councillor Rashmi Singh, Mandal President Shailendra Maurya, General Secretary Vinod Awasthi, Dinesh Pal, Shyam Kishore Shukla, Dinesh Dixit, Suneet Tiwari, Namrata Singh, Majindra Dixit, Pankaj Gupta, Neeraj Awasthi, Dharmendra Singh, Dileep Mishra, Ved Singh, Ramdev Singh, Kishore Prajapati, Anil Mishra, Naimish Sharma, Sheelu Jaiswal, Ramdulari Gupta, Vimal Sahu, Lakshya Pratap Singh, Naimish Pandey, along with officials of the municipal corporation, local dignitaries, and members of the women’s community, who were present in large numbers.
