Rajasthan Police Ensure Accessible and Safe Darshan for Devotees at Khatu Shyamji Fair

Jaipur, February 2026 : Amid the massive influx of devotees at the world-famous Phalguni Lakhi Fair at Khatu Shyamji Temple in Sikar district, the Rajasthan Police have ensured that no devotee—especially persons with disabilities—is deprived of darshan. Acting on the directives of Director General of Police Rajiv Kumar Sharma, special arrangements have been put in place to facilitate and safeguard differently-abled devotees.

Superintendent of Police Praveen Nayak Noonawat said that specially arranged vehicles transport differently-abled devotees directly from parking areas to the darshan point. Wheelchairs are provided there, and police personnel personally assist devotees respectfully and safely for darshan. Over the past four days, dozens of devotees have benefited from these services.

Blessings Reach Every Devotee

SP Noonawat stated that every devotee visiting Khatu Shyamji is like a family member. Serving differently-abled and senior citizens is not just a duty but an act of devotion. The police have been instructed to maintain a sensitive and compassionate approach while managing the vast crowds.

Quick Guidance Through Help Centres

Deputy Superintendent of Police Anand Rao informed that police assistance centres have been set up at regular intervals across the fair area. Clear signboards guide devotees, and prompt help is available at nearby centres in case of any difficulty.
