Rajasthan is also playing the role of a strong growth engine in making India a developed nation by 2047. He said that if the state has to develop at a fast pace, we must move forward by looking toward the future.

Mr. Sharma said that in the two years of our tenure so far, firm resolve and strong policies have given rise to a new work culture in Rajasthan. In half the time, more work has been done by our government. He said that Rajasthan’s per capita income is going to increase for the first time to ₹2,02,349. Unprecedented growth in GSDP due to our government’s efforts—

Mr. Sharma said that in 2026–27, the state’s GSDP is estimated to be around ₹21,52,100 crore, which is more than 41 percent growth compared to 2023–24. He said that during the previous government’s five years, GSDP increased by about ₹6,10,544 crore, but in just two years of our government, an increase of more than ₹6,30,037 crore is estimated. Due to our economic reforms and ease of doing business efforts, the average growth rate has increased from the previous government’s 10.92 percent to 12.25 percent. At constant prices, this rate was only 5.3 percent during the previous government’s five years, but in our just two years it has increased to 8.7 percent.

Estimated revenue receipts of ₹3,25,740 crore in 2026–27—

The Chief Minister said that our government has made concrete and planned efforts to increase revenue. Total revenue receipts of the state in 2026–27 are estimated at ₹3,25,740 crore, which is 14.08 percent higher than last year and about 60 percent higher than the previous government’s final year.

Highest-ever capital expenditure; more than double provision compared to previous government—

Mr. Sharma said that in 2024–25, our government made the highest-ever capital expenditure of ₹30,700 crore. This led to the construction of new roads, bridges, establishment of industrial units, and creation of employment opportunities for youth. For 2026–27, a provision of ₹53,978 crore has been made for infrastructure, which is more than double the ₹26,646 crore spent in the previous government’s final year (2023–24). Total capital expenditure next year will exceed ₹1 lakh crore.

Fiscal deficit lower than previous government—

Mr. Sharma said that the fiscal deficit has been limited to 3.69 percent in 2026–27, compared to 4.31 percent in the previous government’s final year.
