Minister Pankaja Munde extends eco-friendly Holi greetings to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Assembly Speaker Adv. Rahul Narvekar
Mumbai, March 2026 : In view of Holi and Dhulivandan, and as part of the initiative encouraging citizens to celebrate an eco-friendly Holi, Minister for Environment and Climate Change Pankaja Munde extended environmentally conscious Holi greetings to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and Legislative Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar by presenting them with a set of five eco-friendly colours.
Holi, Dhulivandan and Rang Panchami are celebrated across the state on a large scale. With the aim of ensuring that the colours used during these festivities are natural and environment-friendly, the Environment and Climate Change Department, along with the Maharashtra Pollution Control Board, has appealed to citizens to celebrate eco-friendly Holi, Dhulivandan and Rang Panchami.
As part of this initiative, Minister Munde reiterated the appeal to celebrate these festivals in an environmentally responsible manner. In continuation of this effort, she personally met the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and the Assembly Speaker, presenting them with eco-friendly colour kits and conveying her best wishes for a green and sustainable celebration of Holi.
