Nagda, Dhar and Ratlam Included in Indore–Ujjain Metropolitan Region: CM Dr. Yadav
Bhopal, June 2026 : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the grand and divine temple of Lord Shri Ram has been constructed in Ayodhya. Following the Supreme Court’s directions, the magnificent temple was built on the banks of the Saryu River, bringing to a close a 500-year-long struggle. He said that Lord Shri Ram spent 12 significant years of his life in Chitrakoot, and the State Government is developing a grand Chitrakoot Dham at a cost of ₹2,000 crore. The Chief Minister stated that all places across Madhya Pradesh associated with the footsteps of Lord Shri Ram are being developed under the Shri Ram Van Gaman Path project. Similarly, religious sites linked to Lord Gopal Krishna are being developed under the Shri Krishna Pathay initiative.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that extensive development works worth thousands of crores of rupees are being undertaken at a rapid pace for the grand and divine Simhastha 2028. Development is gaining momentum in Ujjain, Indore and surrounding districts. He announced that Dhar, Nagda and Ratlam have also been included in the Indore–Ujjain Metropolitan Region. The Chief Minister further announced the development of all basic amenities at Shri Balaji Dham, including flooring, boundary walls and drinking water facilities.
Chief Minister addressed the Shri Ram Darbar Pran-Pratishtha and Dhwaj Poojan at Balaji Dham in Nagda, Ujjain district. The Chief Minister received a grand welcome at Shri Balaji Dham. Karnataka Governor Shri Thawarchand Gehlot was specially present on the occasion.
Target to Increase Milk Production from 12 per cent to 20 per cent
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the life and character of Lord Shri Ram teach humanity the values of righteousness and ideal conduct. He described Lord Shri Ram as the embodiment of sacrifice and an ideal son, father, and brother. He said, in Ram Rajya, citizens lacked nothing, adding that the State Government is working continuously for Antyodaya by empowering the poor, farmers and women.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said, referring to Lord Hanuman, that every moment of Hanuman Ji’s life was dedicated to Lord Shri Ram, and people should imbibe the virtues reflected in his life. The Chief Minister said that inspired by Lord Gopal Krishna, the State Government has resolved to promote Gaupalan and increase milk production in every household. To achieve this, the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Kamdhenu Yojana has been launched, under which a subsidy of up to ₹10 lakh has been provisioned. The State Government has set a target of increasing the state’s contribution to the country’s total milk production from 12 per cent to 20 per cent. To encourage natural farming and Pashupalan, financial assistance of ₹1,100 per cow per month will be provided
World Looking Towards Sanatan Dharma for Peace
Karnataka Governor Shri Thawarchand Gehlot said that a grand temple has been completed at Delanpur. He remarked that the world today looks towards Sanatan Dharma with hope for global welfare and peace.
