Governor Administers Oaths to Newly Appointed Mizoram Lok Ayukta Judicial Member and MPSC Member
Aizawl : Pu Joel Joseph Denga, a retired MJS officer, and Pu K. Lalhmingliana, a retired MCS officer, were sworn in today as the new Judicial Member of the Mizoram Lok Ayukta and as a Member of the Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC), respectively. The swearing-in ceremony took place in the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhavan, Aizawl, this forenoon.
The oath-taking proceedings commenced with Chief Secretary Dr. Renu Sharma reading out the warrant of appointment issued by the Governor. Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati first administered the Oath of Office to Pu Joel Joseph Denga, followed by the Oath of Office, Allegiance, and Secrecy to Pu K. Lalhmingliana.
Chief Minister Pu Lalduhoma led the high dignitaries in attendance. Speaker Pu Lalbiakzama, Cabinet Ministers, and other dignitaries were also present at the ceremony.
Pu Joel Joseph Denga holds a BA and an LL.B degree. He joined the Mizoram Judicial Service on 24th May 2011 and held several key positions within the Mizoram Law & Judicial Departments. On 12th January 2018, he was promoted to the rank of District and Sessions Judge, a position he held in Aizawl until his new appointment.
Pu K. Lalhmingliana holds a B.Sc (Hons) degree. He joined the Mizoram Civil Service on 1st April 1998 and held various key posts in different government departments, rising through the ranks from Junior Grade to Supertime B Grade. Before this new appointment, he served as the Municipal Commissioner of the Aizawl Municipal Corporation (AMC).
