State Cultural Award to Rohini Hattangadi, Lata Mangeshkar Award 2024 to Anuradha Paudwal

Mumbai : The Maharashtra State Marathi Film Awards, representing the 130 million people of the state, were presented in a prestigious ceremony. Cultural Affairs Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar described these awards as invaluable.

The awards were distributed at a grand ceremony held at the NSCI Dome in Worli. The event was graced by the Additional Chief Secretary of the Department of Cultural Affairs Vikas Kharge, Managing Director of the Maharashtra Film, Theatre, and Cultural Development Corporation Swati Mhase-Patil, and Director of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs Vibhishan Chavre, along with notable figures from the film industry.

The Lata Mangeshkar Award 2024 was presented to renowned singer Anuradha Paudwal. The State Cultural Award 2024 was given to celebrated actress Rohini Hattangadi for her contributions to cinema, while the award for vocal music was bestowed upon famed singer Sudesh Bhosale.

The V. Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award 2023 was presented to Shivaji Satam, and the V. Shantaram Special Contribution Award 2023 went to Digpal Lanjekar. The Raj Kapoor Lifetime Achievement Award 2023 was awarded to Asha Parekh, and the Raj Kapoor Special Contribution Award 2023 was given to N. Chandra.
